detestable sin

I read the most interesting thing today. i was on facebook and there is a pole on whether or not gay marriage should be legalized. One of my dear friends voted "NO" and her response to it was: "Sorry but in Marriage classes this week we were told there five sexes now in day:Women,Men,gay, lesbian, bisexual! God only invented 2 and I'm fine with friends that are that way, choose to be what you want but I would NEVER vote yes on that:("

there was a comment on this by her cousin thats said: "who says god invented two? just b/c it was just adam and eve does not mean that's how he wanted it to end up (a woman and a man) the bible is all about interpretation. try to read the bible in a new light."

O this did not rub me the right way at all.. yea i get a little excited.. i was thinking to myself.. who ever says God invented more than two needs to read their Bible. but really the thing that bugged me most is the statement about the Bible being open to interpretation. really?!?! since when has God ever changed just because you decide that He should. God wrote the Bible in simple words. the Bible clearly states that Homosexuality is wrong!! no if's, and's, or but's about it. 1st Corinthians 6:9 "Don't you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshipers, adulterers, male prostitutes, homosexuals..." Any further questions?!?! if so how about Leviticus 18:22 "Do not practice homosexuality it is a detestable sin." How much more clearer can my God be?? It is these kinds of thoughts and attitudes that are dragging this country so far down. wake up and stop trying to put God in your little box. He is soooo much bigger than that. you can NOT use the Bible to fit your way of living. you need to fit your life the way the God commands (in the Bible). Am i hater of homosexuals..? most certainly not. i know many people who choose to live this way of life. i love them just not their way of living. and they know that.

Ingredients:

•2 cups water
•1 Mexican cinnamon stick, whole (no substitute)
•1½ cups quick oats
•3 cups whole milk*
•sugar to taste
* 2% or skim milk may be substituted; however, keep in mind that this will affect the flavor and overall texture of the finished product.

Directions:

Combine water and cinnamon stick in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a gentle boil. Allow to simmer for about 3 minutes. Lower heat to medium and add in oats, stirring frequently so that they don’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Once oats are softened and have absorbed most of the water, add in the milk and stir to combine well. Allow atole to return to a boil and then lower the heat once again so that it can begin to thick…

Love this! written by Tanya Amidei

Public Declaration; I NO longer believe in falling/being in love: As I was walking to work this morning I was convicted and reproved for ignorantly believing that I could "fall in love". Love is NOT something you fall into; this pulsing truth wouldn't silence. Now, you can imagine how I felt as the conviction in my heart arose; slightly defensive because certainly I've been defining love properly, right? So, I decided that it was my responsibility to pierce into the Word of my Father, and search to see if this concept of "falling in love" or "being in love" is something that I should indeed attach my life to. Now, it was to my surprise that this concept of emotional intoxication that motivates the lips to part and the tongue to say "I'm in love" is NOWHERE to be found! In fact, as I dug into research I found that this concept; the one I've been guilty of co-signing my name to, is nothing more than lust. Lust is built on what the …
